• 영문초록 : The purpose of this study is to investigate whether contents in text is suitable for the changing family phenomena, and to analysis the adaptability of the contents in the social-educational context. For this research, I analyzed the 7th socio-culture textbook by using social network analysis which is the useful methodology to understand the relations of contents. Social Network analysis is a useful tool to excavate the forms of structure or relationship and to explain the characteristics of the system that arise through relationships or to explain the units composing the system. And I used qualitative content analysis method too. The results of analysis are as follows Firstly, concept of family reflect conservative perspective, alternative family as the homosexual family, one parents family, and form of remarriage family were treated family problem. Second, type of the family of our society was explained extended family and nuclear family, and description of nuclear family and extended family had inaccurate information. Thirdly, main function of family mirror functional theory. Four, family problem which is treated in textbook was the elderly problem. Based on the result, I pointed that writers must recognize the element of the prejudice including in textbook.

이 연구의 주요 목적은 가족 현상에 관련된 담론이나 우리나라의 가족 현실에 비추어 사회 · 문화 교과서의 가족 단원에 반영된 내용의 적합성을 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 이 연구에서는 내용 분석 방법을 수행하였다. 우선 가족 단원의 내용적 구조를 파악하기 위하여 사회 연결망 분석 방법을 수행하였으며, 가족 단원에 반영된 편견의 요소를 분석하기 위하여 질적인 내용 분석을 병행하였다. 질적인 내용 분석의 분석 기준으로 부정확한 정보, 고정 관념, 언어적 편견, 불균형을 설정하였다. 사회 연결망 분석과 질적인 내용 분석 방법으로 교과서 내용을 분석한 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족 구성 범위로서 혼인, 혈연, 입양의 요소를 강조하면서 전통적 관점으로 가족 형태를 정의하고 있었으며, 한부모 가족과 재혼 가족 등의 가족 형태를 가족 문제와 관련하여 다루고 있었다. 둘째, 핵가족화 현상을 가족 문제의 주요 원인으로 서술하는 등 핵가족 형태를 부정적으로 다루고 있었으며, 핵가족과 확대 가족을 구분하는 기준과 특징을 서술하는 과정에서 부정확한 정보를 제시하는 경우가 발견되었다. 셋째, 가족의 기능을 기능론적 관점으로 다루면서 갈등론적 관점에서 제시하는 가족의 계급 재생산 기능 등을 배제하고 있었다. 넷째, 다양한 가족 문제 중에서 노인 문제를 중심으로 다루고 있으며 경제적 빈곤으로 인한 가족간 갈등이나 가족 내 폭력 등의 문제를 다루지 않고 있었다. 연구자는 집필자들이 가족 관련의 내용을 서술할 때 편견의 요소가 반영될 가능성을 인식하고, 이를 경계해야 한다고 제안하였다
