• 영문초록 : This study identified family function, self differentiation, and life position; it also attempted to identify variables that influence life position. In addition, this study explored the differences between the college students and unmarried mothers. A self-administered questionnaire was designed and administered to college students living in Daegu and unmarried mothers who live in institutional care centers. A total of 268 questionnaires(110 college students, 158 unmarried mothers) were collected for a response rate of 89.33%. The results of t-test comparing four types of life position between college students and unmarried mothers showed that I`m OK. I`m not OK and You`re OK were significantly different. Especially, for unmarried mothers, I`m not OK and You`re not OK were much greater among unmarried mothers than among college students, identifying unmarried mothers` negative life position. Stepwise regression analysis was performed to examine the influence of self differentiation and family function; we analyzed 5 subcategories of self differentiation and 6 subcategories of family function on life position. There were totally different between college students and unmarried mothers in variables affecting life position. College students` life position on I`m OK was affected by communication, intelligence to emotional function, self integration. For unmarried mothers, problem solving, family regression, communication, and intelligence to emotional function influenced on life position of I`m OK. Family regression influenced life position of I`m not OK among both college students and unmarried mothers survey respondents differently. problem solving influenced only unmarried mothers` life position of You`re OK. From a practical viewpoint, effective counseling and educational programs, which consider different unmarried mothers characteristics with college students, should carefully integrate to control the positive family function and self differentiation for improving unmarried mothers` life position.

본 연구는 미혼모와 대학생의 생활자세, 자아분화, 가족기능의 비교분석과 함께 세 변인간의 관계를 봄으로써 미혼모의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 미혼모 생활시설의 미혼모와 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 분석결과 미혼모와 대학생의 생활자세는 타인부정을 제외한 3개 영역, 즉 자기긍정, 자기부정, 타인긍정에서 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 대학생에 비하여 자기긍정과 타인긍정이 낮고 자기부정과 타인부정이 높은 것으로 조사됨으로써 미혼모의 생활자세가 대학생에 비하여 부정적이라는 사실이 확인되었다. 자아분화의 5개 하위 영역과 가족기능의 6개 하위 영역 중 대학생과 미혼모의 생활자세에 영향력 있는 예측변수의 파악을 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 대학생의 경우 네 가지 생활자세에 영향을 미치는 공통변수는 인지대정서기능과 커뮤니케이션인 것으로 나타났다. 미혼모의 경우 자기긍정과 타인긍정의 생활자세에는 대학생과 동일한 인지대정서기능과 커뮤니케이션 이외에 문제해결이, 자기부정과 타인부정의 생활자세에는 정서적 반응과 정서적 단절인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 삶의 태도를 결정하는 생활자세가 대학생과 미혼모간 차이가 있음은 물론 생활자세 형성과 관련있는 변수들에 차이가 있음을 확인함으로써 미혼모를 대상으로 한 상담이나 교육현장에서 이들의 특성을 고려한 접근방법들이 모색되고 제시되어야 함을 시사한다
